Just curious because I have a set and I am not sure what year they are out of.

 

AFAIK, the Si had holes in the headrests for all years 88 - 91. You probably have DX seats, which are similar but do not have holes in the headrests.

 

same here but someone just bought a crx si. somen like: MoCRXHF or somen? it didnt have holes.

 

i have a 89 dx and it doesnt have holes in the headrests. i think all of the Si seats had holes, maybe they swapped them for dx seats, or swapped the headrests because they were damaged....

heres that link. it was an Si but in the brochure pic, they have holes, but in the pic that mocrxhf has, there are no holes.

 

The reason that car doesn't have holes in the headrests is because somebody swapped the seats out with what look like 1st gen CRX Si seats. Yes, this is possible with a 1988 model, because the seats mount the same way as an 85 - 87 CRX.

they look exactly like this, with the big bolsters but they have closed headrest that move up and down...

 

Yeah, the ones in the hatch look like DX seats, but the only real difference is the headrests anyway.

they looked sweet in your car. i went lookin for a set at the junkyard and found a set but they were all fugged up.

 

could someone have just swapped headrests?

its a posibility, is it not?

 

anythign is possible with people these days. but those are DX seats cause my old crx used to have them.
