True, very true...and I think a lot of members on this board should take your advice about respect. He asked a simple, innocent question, and gets flamed on because he's a noob. Was it really neccessary to rag on the kid just because he doesn't know his way around the site? No, it wasn't. And I'm not saying what the kid said was the smartest thing to say, but he was just trying to defend himself. Anyways, to answer the question, click on My Profile at the top right-hand side of the screen, then click on Avatar. Pretty simple after that. Just follow the instructions.
By the way, this could have been avoided if we had a FAQ section for the EG+ Civic / Del Sol forum.

god there are some rough members on this board...to the n00b...these guys are probably the smartest honda-drivers (in terms of overall knowledge of honda tuning) I have ever seen...I have been on many boards and read many posts...and the guys in this EG forum are some of the smartest people out there...so I don't suggest questioning their knowledge when u dont even know how to change a ******* avatar...

Way back when , I learned how to change my avatar by reading the guidelines and looking at my profile options. I didn't need someone to hold my hand. I'm not trying to start a "I'm better than you" or "I know more than you" contest. But, actually researching a question first can be fun!!!

I agree maybe if you actually did a little bit of research you could have found it on your own, instead you had to be an *** and not only make stupid thread which is wasting bandwidth but also you made an *** out of yourself. Rising Sun, these guys really do know a lot about Hondas, treat them like gods and pray you do not ask too many stupid questions..And use the search function..they love that.

Rising Sun, pay no attention to all this mess. That was a completely legitimate question, and there are a lot of people on here that need to learn to either post the correct information, or just ignore threads altogether.

If I was new here, I would probably ask the same question. When i started, only mods had avatars.

Don't get discouraged, and don't get angry back, that's just what they want you to do.

This is a great forum for some of the best Honda tuners in the world to come and share information.
