Holy crap! I wonder if you can just import them or do you have to do some safety inspection stuff?

It's not. If you actually enjoy driving, that is.

really thats funny, because i do enjoy driving...and i think you're way off in your statement.

would you want nsx owners bashing your precious R because it isn't fun to drive?
it's all a matter of opinion, i think plenty of cars are fun to drive. alot of it is mindset also. sucks for mk ultra that he can't seem to enjoy himself in a fun car.

I personally love the way the DC5-R looks. It seems that some of you R owners feel threatened and have the need to bash on it without having first hand experience. Well whatever, the DC2-R can't be king forever. Just face it you pussies!

Mk must know more about cars than the owner of JDMhondaparts.com

It's not much different from our Type-S.

I don't mind what any NSX owner says. After all, I bash their over-rated pieces of **** all the time.

And it wouldn't surprise me if I did know more than the ******* ricer who owns jdmhondaparts.

Neither was the DC2 ITR from the GSR

And your point?

There are more significant differences between the DC2 and DC2R than there are between the DC5 and DC5R.

Like a stiffer chassis.

Indeed, the only real reason to get a DC2R over a DC2 is the difference in chassis stiffness. Were it not for that you could make a GS-R every bit as good as an ITR. Period.

so you haven't even driven the car you're so blindly outspoken against? wow.
and how is the nsx and overrated piece of ****?
i could say the same about the R if we're just gonna cap on cars.

Don't need to. It's basically a Type-S (which I have driven numerous times) with suspension tuning and a little less weight. The difference in power is irrelevant, since the K20A2 can easily make the same power with minimal modification.

The Type-(po)S is a thoroughly unsatisfying car to drive. It offers very little in the way of communication. Why should I expect any better from the R?

I suppose I was a bit off by saying the NSX is over-rated, as only a few people like them enough to actually buy one. Most people who can afford one have enough sense to buy a C5 or a 996 instead.

i've only driven gsr's and can say the type R sucks.
because the gsr sucks and basically the r is only a gsr with a stiffer chassis.
nice huh? see how dumb you sound?

Stiffer chassis makes all the difference in the world.

Then again, I'd take the GS-R over the DC5R as well. Double wishbone suspension makes a big difference too.

Do you actually think I care about your estimation of my intellect?

i would hope not.
although i can't be alone in saying that everytime you pop your head into an rsx thread it's to whine about it's shortcomings. i know you have some wierd vendetta against this car but maybe you could not clutter the posts with your worthless viewpoints? you don't even own the car, you've never driven the dc5r yet you feel compelled to tell every rsx owner how shitty their car is. it's pathetic, so far you've based your arguement on it isn't fun to drive....which is your skewed opinion, nothing more. an R is an R is an R is an......

Isn't that the whole reason to buy a car like that in the first place?

I bought my car mainly because of the way it felt when I drove it. Had the DC5 been out when I bought my car I most certainly would not have bought anything from an Acura lot.

If I wanted performance I would have bought a Camaro SS (and who knows, maybe I will end up doing just that).
