88 CRX/ 91 Hatch compatibility
I currently have a 88 CRX w/ Koni yellows and H&R race springs. I'm thinking about picking up a 91 Hatchback. Just wanted to double check if the front spring/shock combo would be a direct swap from the 88 to the 91. Whereas the rear springs will work but the shocks will not. If so would the 88 CRX LCA's be a direct bolt on to the 91 hatch? I believe both the 88 CRX and the 91 Hatchbacks have rear drum brakes - so it really wouldn't make any difference braking-wise? Can anyone confirm (or deny) this?...
thanks in advance

The 88 has the Teg rear control arms. Stamped sheet metal the 91 will have the cast iron ones. To put the Konis on the 91 you will need the 88 lower control arms but the traling arms should work fine. Do your Konis have an eye on the bottom end or do they have the fork?
The rear ones have the eye. So I figured it might be cheaper to swap the LCA's onto the 91 as opposed to buying new rear shocks with the fork at the bottom.
