Default putting a d16z6 into an 86 civic SI

Could I reuse the transmission from the Si and keep it a cable tranny? Has anyone done this?

not on that car...the D15 EW engine and tranny are TOTALLY different from the 88+ D series motor and trannies. You need a trans from an 86-89 integra.

It just so happens I have an 89 integra tranny. So this tranny would bolt right up to the d16z6? Is this swap incredibly hard? or do i just need to get some custom mounts?
