Default installed manual steering

I finally got around to installing manual steering on my del sol. it drives so much better. it was a pretty straight forward swap. Just had to remove the exhaust and rear motor mount to get it out of the car. i can get more detailed if any is interested.

I was planning on replacing my manual DX rack with one from a GSR and make it a semi power/manual steering rack like the guys from RealTime racing did with the racing Type-R's... has a better lock to lock ratio than a DX rack...

Yep, that's what I'm gonna look into at some point too....get the quicker ratio and the manual rack I already installed.

can you tell more on the real time type r's and what they did? i assume your talking about looping the ps system back around so it feeds itself but doesnt run off the pully. but i would like to know more about why and how much and wether or not it was a good thing on those real time's.

it was a good thing they have had winning seasons for 5+ years now and have great steering response. they are even using the same technique as always on the new rsx steering systems. over in the type r forum they just had someone bring back the post about conversions for anyone who is interested.
