I'm just posting this in reference to the forum as a whole. What do you all think about it? How do you feel it could be improved.

Let's try not to be insulting to anyone, but ... let's post what has been bothering each one of you individually since you could remember. Let's see how this goes.

ADDITIONALLY: this post is just to draw attention to the **** that pisses people off. So we could understand what not to do.

The classifieds section should be broken up into more sections. Like performance parts, interior items, wheels and so on. Things move to fast in there. That is about the only thing I would like to see changed. I Honda-Tech.

NunRacer: Yeah stuff just moves too damn fast in there. Everyone just keeps bumping up there own ****.

Haha, definitely true, I can't stand it. When i am lookin for a part... theres like no chance, things just change up too fast. Or if I'm selling.. i have to post it like 10x!

People, just remember to have fun as well as the usual technical stuff. The ITR board is more of a tighter knit community on H-T(I think) and I consider all the other ITR owners my friends. So don't take everything so seriously.

FL/GA/NC/VA/CA/IL own this forum too much. The other parts of the United States need to step up.

(2)a general inability to accurately express outselves because of a dangerous lack of English comprehension.
Huh? Sounds like me saying decifer (instead of decipher) in the thread about spelling/grammar/coherency.

I agree. People not bothering to search, or starting 10 threads about the same thing, in the same forum.

Marc - Thanks for including IL in the forum ownage list!

its already perfect...i think there should be a mandatory thing that you have to read soemthing that has to deal with rules...and using the search funtion...if they mess up first time is s warning..2nd time is a point deduction or something...its kinda fun telling noobs to use the search though...thats where all of my post count came from

Best board in the world. I like the american scene, because the EUR scene is dull.
For me it`s perfect...

Well...
I do not need 20 email notifications if somebody answers to a thread. I only need to be informed if a new answer has been posted.. I don`t want EVERY single post sent to my email account.

No, please get me right.

For example:
From Hondapower.de I receive an email, if a new message has been posted since my last visit. Only the FIRST post, not the following mails are sent just to let me know there`s something going on.

If I completely unsubscribe, I`ll receive NO info at all what is not in my sense.

This is a public online forum. There are going to be ******** everywhere, everyone has an opinion. If you don't have thick skin, or can't see beyond sarcasm, it's not the place for you.

First, there should be a more thorough explanation of the SEARCH function. Teach people how to do a very specific search, and it will save everyone a lot of time. I've learned that almost every question has already been asked.

Second, there should be some sort of glossary of all the abreviations used here. Every human field of endeavor has its own language. Among the experts acronyms and abbreviations are common expressions. I know a lot about cars, but during my research on Hond-tech I've struggled with some very simple concepts simply because it takes me a while to figure out the language. What I'm saying is that I understand the terms that are being used, but sometimes it takes me a while to figure out the abbreviations that are being used for these terms. I realize that most of the people on this forum know the language, but honda-tech would be a much better research site if more of the terms and abbreviations were explained. Maybe some of the newbies have used the search function and they simply can't decipher the answers they find.

As much time we all spend on here, I honestly think we should pay a one-time member fee. This will get rid all the useless newbies and trolls. I think the Adminstrator has done a great job in keeping this the most technical forum, today. He deserves a good chunk.

For those of you who dont like the fee, again, this will filter out all the useless members.

Just my 0.02

Edit: It will also reduce the amount of scammers.

In a sense, I dislike the fact that by its very existence this site disseminates information pertaining to the modification of Hondas, thus propagating a trend for which my distaste is inexhaustable.

Ah, but that cannot be helped. By participating I too am responsible. Shame on me.

Other than that quibble, I find nothing objectionable in my visits to honda-tech.

In regards to the matter of articulation, I am currently accepting applications for the position of MK Ultra's editor.
