no...i bought it from my friend with the exact same car as me...and we hooked it up on his car but didn't have this problemm...there are 2 vacuum lines that are available..and only one had the right hose size...and the other we plugged up..so i'm seriously not sure but it's pissing me off..any more help would be greatly appreciated
its the throttle cable, you need to adjust it, it is probibly too short for the new tb and it is keeping the butterfly open a idle... follow the cable from the tb to the intake manifold and it should be attached around there, there are 2 bolts that you need to adjust to give it more length.
if you need more help with it im me.
if you need more help with it im me.
um the throttle cable was so loose that i had to push the gas half way down just to get the butterfly to open...i thougth of that first then realized that the butterfly was completly closed so i looked for another reason
check the tb gasket and make sure the groove for the vacum and idle a correct....after puttin in a new motor my car idles at 2k rpm and kept on jumping around.....my friends got a bbk 72 mm tb on his type r and he says is normal for the bigger tb to idle around 1500 rpm
