Strong vibration while driving
I just took my car this morning to FireStone and had a 4-wheel alignment and rebalance/check and bent rims. There were only one with very slight bent that was rebalanced. The car drove fine for the day, but right after I left my friend's house this evening, the car start to behave weird.
First, it was a very noticeable vibration from the right side of the car, it's not like the vibration of a bent rim of blown tire, it seems like the entire right side is swirling. It's most noticeable at 60 and I never had such a sense of danger that I pull off the nearest exit. I check all bolts and they are all tight on the wheels, no tires seem to have any flats (I don't have a gauge handy, so I did a visual check).
I plan to go back to Firestone tomorrow and see what sup, anyone has any clue?

balanced the tires?
Maybe, just your luck that wheel bearing has decided to take crap after the alignment.
Too see if it's the wheel/tire combo, just switch the rear tire/wheel with the front one. You should easily tell the problem by doing this.

I have the same problem, except with my civic. I bought some rims, slapped some nitto tires on and installed them with the correct after market lugs. As soon as I left Discount Tire, my car started rattling like crazy. I thought it was that the wheels had been balanced wrong or the alignment was off but after a rebalance and an alignment it kept vibrating. Then I thought maybe my brand new wheels were bent, but nothing was wrong with them. The vibrating starts around 60 for me also and does NOT go away at any speed exceeding 60 but I couldn't test past 116mph because of a limiter hinderance
. I am in the same situation as you and maybe someone out there can help me also.

Bent axel? My friends's 98' was doing the same thing and after wheel/tire balancing and alignment it was still there. It turned out to be the passenger side axel. Good luck.
