Why not just replace the head gasket?

I agree with the last guy. Just replace headgasket with some autozone gasket if you're just going to sell it.

Autozone gasket - $19.99
Different block - $25.00

Ya save five bucks and you have less work to do.

Id rather just put a motor inwith less miles and ****, so i can sell it for more to this girl i know... cuase the longblocks i have found are 300 for ones with around 80k miles the car has 180 already... and probleyl never had good maintnence.. Since when is a block 25. And anyway i need a lonblock with the head, i dont feel like taking the head/block apart..

If you want to keep it simple, and you're not worried about performance, ANY d-series block will bolt right in, you will need to use the old Intake manifold unless you want to do an MPFI conversion. Even an SOHC VTEC engine would work, but you wouldn't want to accually hook up the VTEC solenoid with a dx intake mani on there.
