I just got a new used car. Its a 93' Civic coupe. The paint color is white.

I noticed that if you look closely enough in the light there are little swirls all along the body. It looks like little scratches on the paint. My guess is someone didnt wash the car before they waxed it and thats what caused it.

Would a good rubbing compound take out the swirls or am I screwed?

 

clay barring the car should take it out. Or polish it with 3M Perfect It

 

Is that stuff expensive?

Would buffing it with a wheel make it better also?
