Default b16a block with b18b (nonvtec) head....?

Will these 2 bolt up, nothing extra nessary? Or do I need something else? VTEC or NON-VTEC head gasket?

Seee the problem is, I'm bulind up my 90 LS and I need a girdle, but if I buy a girdle for $289, I still need the GSR windage tray, oil pick-up, this, that, this that...etc...and well it'd be like over $500, so I'm just gonna buy a vtec block...so will it just bold up? I'm assuming I need vtec head studs and not the b18a head studs I bought.....Well please let me know. Thank you..

please IM me or email me, the answer you post, cuz I wanna know everyones info!! Thank you

actually if a vtec head can bolt to a LS bottom to create a LS/VTEC setup, you might be able to assume that the inverse is possible... and still be a LS/VTEC.. sorta..
hahahahahaaaaaaa, I'll be interested in your results, but I am astonished that you cant just find a cheap B18A bottom end, I mean they are everywhere arent they???!

I have the b18b block, but I wanna use the girdle on the vtec block, to buy one at http://www.z10eng.com is $289 + $250 of **** from Acura////so it's like not worth it for me to buy the aftermarket girdle..... ya know, but I'm just gonna build the buttom end w/o the girdle.....

mine is honed .020 over, block guard in place, decked, etc....so it was worth a shot....

fred ellis (crxguru.com) actually did that out of some "spare parts." it didnt run very impressive numbers but the idea is still interesting.
