My friend put the same motor in his civic 4dr for a daily driver and for being completely stock that 1.5 really picked up... good luck with it

 

ya funny looking...... umm thast odd thought it was from a civic....... NA for now i have atubro kit but probley wont pu tit on i got it in canada i'd rather not tell the supplyer. but it was 300 for motor tranny from 98 and ecu. if you know naybody that wnast a 98 vti tranny let me know

 

theres nuttin funny about it
he has a 94-95 Civic Si engine that says vtec on valve cover
then he has a 96+ Y8 intake manifold and exhaust manifold

and not to be a newbie but thats the first engine that i see with 2 vtec solenoids next to ea other

 

only the 96 up have two solenoids ya teh motor is 1.5 but has d16z6 head but more aggressive cam from factory. is a vx botom end with z6 pisyons. 130hp an dlittle less tq than z6 not much though

 

Yep I own a d15b I puted it ina 1991 civic Dx, hatch,

realy a nice engine, pull hard, faster then a z6, really not comparable to a A6,
I did all the swap myself, go ahead seend me some question!!
btw here a pic of the engine !


how ever I got one for you, from what car does the downpipe come?? the second part of the exaust manifold I mean???? I badly need one.

its off a 98 vti civc so dont know what to tell you i can get one in may but not any sooner sprry
