Ferrari Del Sol? WTF???
Used to have that as my avatar. Looks kinda neat, but way too much money and it isnt worth doing. Doesnt look that good. They also make these kits for fiero's. Seen a few stunnaz driving those around town.

that's kinda funny. Body work is great, I wouldnt drive that. Probably a stock motor with that auto tranny. putting ferrari emblems, steering wheel badge, and floor mats is going too far. It's like putting altezzas on and putting a lexus badge on.
Hehehe, well, it looks like they did a good job on the conversion.
ME: "what's the retail on one of those"
owner w/sinister glare: "more than you can afford paaaaal"
ME: "but isn't that a Del Sol S model with the Magnum PI body kit"
Owner: "why you gotta get all technical?!!"

I once saw a black MR2 which was modified to look like a Ferrari, that looked awesome.. didn't know it was an MR2 until I saw the interior and all the Greddy gauges
There was a del sol ferrari at a local car show we had. Stock b16 in it. Kinda funny if you ask me. The thing was too short. Made me laugh. It was some old guy driving it thinking he was all bad *** or something. Haha.

nah kev, that white one pictured is the one up in Nashville... I've seen it, too, and it was auto so therefore no B16. The rear wheels have something like 3" thick spacers just to bring them out even with the quarter panels (and they still don't fill up the wheel wells like they should). I dunno what's up with the hood but it has a notch in the edge because the driver side wiper wouldn't clear it. You can't really see it in the pics but I've seen it in person. And yeah, it's an older guy driving it. Definitely not for me.
I do believe the taillights are genuine Ferrari

yeh that would be tite... only problem would be that it doesn't have that oh so wonderful lamborghini or ferrari sound. Also Fieros made out to look like other cars look really bad unless you have the frame custom extended, since the Fiero is so short. I've seen non-extended Fieros with Ferrari kits and it looks really dumb.
