How can u tell if its an LS tranny?

Default How can u tell if its an LS tranny?

my boy has a EG with a b18c1 with an "alledged LS tranny"

he bought it as is...

on the trans I remember it says DC4 and a bunch of other #s

Easiet thing to do is run it up to 70 mph in 5th and if you're revving around 3700 rpm's then it's a GSR tranny. The LS will be noticeably lower, not sure exactly but probably around 3000 rpm's.
