when looking for new wires...it seems that everyone goes with NGK's because they are cheaper than the oem wires....Are the oem wires already sufficient enough...and if price wasnt an issue, which set of wires would you buy??

 

OEm wires are fine for 99% of all potential uses. Plug wires making power is largely a myth, unless there's something wrong with your stock wires.

stock plugs are ngk...stock wires are sumitomo..

 

Actually, stock plugs are EITHER NGK or Denso, plug wires are sumitomo

 

Personally I like oem over the NGK replacements. I've used both and the oem always fit in place better.

 

Buy wires that fit, snap onto the wire solidly and have the cover that snaps on the valve cover tightly to keep water out.
