hey guys, i have a quick question about the oem type R side valences and rear pieces also. just remember i am buying these pieces for a 98+ integra body. so i finally found a local dealer that had a set of FROST white sides and rears in stock. so im happy. but i did more research about the factory colors and year and this is my question.

if the dealer has a frost white oem kit in stock (sides and rears) does that mean they were meant to go on a 94-97 integ? and did they even make these oem kits for 94-97 integs cause i know they had a 97 type R. the dealer knew i was buying this for a 98+ integ but he doesnt seem to find a connection between frost white (94-97 integ) and taffeta white (98+). i mean, if the kit is meant for a 98+, why would they even paint it frost white from the factory?

so my REAL question is, should i buy the sides and rears from him or will the rears not fit on my year integ? any sort of expertise advice will help. im just really paranoid cause id ont want to spend that much money on rears that wont fit.

doesn't matter. they made the rear valance and the side skirts for 98+ Integra's.

so your car is tafetta white and you're worried about a difference in color? yes, they will NOT match.. you'll have to get them repainted.. I got mine done for about $300.. you probably won't be able to find them in Taffeta anywhere, so my advice is to buy them and repaint them..

 

ARE THESE KITS STILL AVAILABLE?? IF SO DO MOST DEALERS CARRY THEM??

 

they have not been in production for over a year.. some dealers still have them laying around
