well, i just went to get my car inspected and of course there were a few more things than i expected that need fixing.(I HATE INSPECTIONS, BECAUSE THEY SCREW YOU OVER SO BAD!!!) well anyways, i SUPPOSEDLY need new rotors, new drum brake shoes and springs, new passenger inner tie rod, and new front motor mount.

i just need to know where would be a good place to get a new(or possibly used) front motor mount for my CRX. and also maybe a place for the inner tie rod also.

i assume i can get the rotors and drum brake stuff at the local auto part store.

u dont need the front mount
most people just scrap em when they do a swap.
and also all that stuff is very easy to do yourself with some basic tools and a jack or some ramps..
u dont need inspections u just wait for stuff to break...

i have to replace all that stuff if i want to get it licensed in the state of MD, and i'm pretty sure all states are pretty much the same. so i don't really have a choice in the matter. that's how they screw you over.

Well like I said before, I have the front motor mount and it ain't doing me no good sitting in my garage.

I've got a few front motor mounts from swaps I've done. I'll be more than happy to give you one.

 

Actually I live in Oklahoma and last year they did away with our inspection laws.We don't have state inspections anymore so there are no worries anymore when it comes to racing cats and the like.Oklahoma, the best place on earth!

 

if u front mount its broken u can do what i did.. go to http://www.suspension.com and boughgt the Energy Supension motor mount inserts...
they fix the mount... mines its broken and once this was ON i felt the difference... well worthed the $15....
