si motor in std hatch (searched but found no answer)

Default si motor in std hatch (searched but found no answer)

alright i searched for like 4 pages and still couldnt find this but what all do i need to put the 90 si motor in the civic std hatch???
i know i need mpfi and that but what else do i need

It bolts right in. No extra modification reqd. You will need the ECU if you're swapping the mpfi with it. (as well as modifying the wire harness for mpfi)

The Si tranny would be nice for performance, but is not required to get the job done. I would recomend putting a new clutch in while the engine's out anyway.

u can use ur stock std axles in the si trans if u use that the inner joints are the same on the std trans do a search on how to convert to mpfi and ull understand how to convert the wring harness

When I put my ZC in my STD hatch I used the STD axels. This saved me the trouble of swapping the hubs. I have the Si tranny. There should be no problem using the STD axels.

same thing i did
i tried upgrading to Si axles but they didnt work (before i knew about hubs) and the STD ones are thicker
