b16a1 is a good choice, but why not go for a single cam d16y8 or sumthing...Thats what I am doing in my ef, and with a little tuning, be able to run close to an a1 swap for a little money saved. But hey, If you got the money, definently do a b16 swap...in a crx, you wouldn't regret it. nitrous, don't imo...nice to have you, welcome to the forum...

first off, the B16A1 is only like $1300... And the amount of tuning to get the sohc to run with it would not save you any money... secondly, I agree, Nos is bad... My boy "Incubus" has a B16a in his rex and he loves it...

I wouldn't nock nitrous. It's definitely a cheap power adder. I just wouldn't get crazy with it. I've been successfuly running a 55 shot (zex) on my B18A1 in my rex for about a year now. And my rings are holding just fine. It's there when I want it. And your not constantly straining you engine vs. the turbo/supercharger. I'm sure there's plenty of pro's and cons to every power adder. Just make sure you do your research on n2o before you decide to go that route. But NX kit is a great kit to start with. i know people who ran nos on a b16 for a long time now...Just don't run a huge shot and you will be fine.. I personally wouldn't run more than a 60 shot.. that is just to be safe..

the b 16a is a good motor. But the tq is not that great from 90-93 models but since you said you want nos it sounds like a good plan. I had a 88 hf with a zc intake And 85 shot of nos and run 13.2 At 107.5 mph look luck have fun and be safe.
