jdm itr intake system
Hello everyone. I was just wondering what your thoughts are ugrading my gsr intake system to a jdm itr intake system. Now I know ill have to change the manifold but i guess i just wanted to know what brand to go with (manifold) and where or how to get the itr system or how much it costs.
First, no need for the "JDM". Skunk2 IM with your choice of aftermarket intake (AEM, Comptech, etc.).
EDIT: If you really want a factory intake, it is usually easy to find someone selling his stock ITR piece.

I don't have a GS-R, but the ITR manifold is almost identical to the Skunk2 (except that the Skunk2 will bolt right up to the B18C1 head) and I ran both the stock intake for a short while, and an AEM CAI.
Depending on your current setup, there may be more cost-effective ways of making power before you need to switch your IM.

well i will be adding a jdm header and exhaust this week. right now im just trying to figure what i want to do next. so the skunk will just bolt right on and i would then have to purchase an itr cai if i wanted one right?
The Skunk2 IM will bolt to the C1 head. I have never done the install, but many people have problems with the throttle cable, and some install an ITR cable. In addition, the throttle cable bracket needs to be modified or replaced. I found a decent amount of information by searching the Integra forum for "manifold".
