can u buy????

can u buy just the cam caps and rails straight from honda???? posting for a friend and honda tells him he has to buy the whole head. anyone know the answer??? thanx.

sorry adrian, already been to both sites, neither have just hte cam caps and rails. thanx though. i should have specified it was a DOHC vtec head.

I believe that the cam caps are align bored with the head. Swapping cam caps from another head could lead to misalignment and cam/head damage. Kind of like engine main bearing caps.
