port and polish question????
price depends on who is doing it i got my intake manifold, head, and throttle body done for $600 it can afect performance in a good & bad way.........if the ports are to big it will be slugish in the lower RPM range but be killer at the top end but too big could even be bad in any RPM range ........theres a happy medium where it works perfect. if the shop knows what there doing tell them what you plan on doing(race/daily driver/ect.)and they will port/polish to your needs

you don't port and polish the "engine", it is done to the head and/or intake manifold. and it's the lower intake manifold, not the TB, that you van have ported and polished. but when you have this done, you should notice a lot more mid-rang and top end power. i paid around $900 for my port and polish, but they did do other work as well, including a flow test on the head
