you need to USE your LS crank....using a b16 crank in an LS block is like a reverse stroker......
and yes the exhaust should fit fine..adaM
why are you going to pay 1200 for a 1st gen B16a? longblocks are only 450 + shipping from some online companies like nippon-motors.com
You need to use the ls crank and the ls rods if you want to keep the displacement of the ls. The b16 pistons are a good idea if you plan to go all motor but if your planning boost leave the ls slugs in. You might consider just buying the long block because they at quite a bit cheaper. Consider a b16 tranny as well if youre planning all motor, the gearing is much better. Good luck.
dont put a ls/vtec, just go with all motor or boost, buy a ls motor and turbo it...simple as that.

cheapest way would be to buy the LS longblock and get the B16 Head and Intake Manifold (Header also but you should use aftermarket)
Also, if you plan on going boost or makeing any SERIOUS power then you may want to steer away from the B16 tranny, it makes traction dificult, try the GSR

the N1 is just a rear section muffler...unless you get the entire cat-back. it also depends on what header you use...2.25" or 2.5"...good luck with the setup.
you have to use the GSR timing belt, GSR oil pump and GSR water pump. i'd go with ITR pistons and rings.
A GSR timing belt is needed with any 23 tooth vtec water pump (ie-b16,gsr,itr).
if i were you id piece the swap together instead of buying what you dont need.
since your rebuilding the block anyway, save money and get a B18A block.
B18A block...100-150$
GSR top end...600-700$
ITR pistons, oilpump, waterpump, timingbelt...450-500$
vtec hydro tranny...600-800$
ITR clutch...180$
94+ integra axles, midshaft, mounts, linkage, throttlecable...500$
p28 ecu w/ program 200-250$
labor and parts involved in rebuilding the b18a with your new parts...600$
headgasket..60
arp studs...120
seems like alot of money, but if he gets a sir2 swap, 2200+then a B18B block 400+
then labor, and the teardown of 2 motors and the complete rebuild of one.
economically the right choice is get the exact parts you want, do it all right the first time, or youlle be broke for a long time.

you make perfect sense! but my plan was to out the ls swap in this summa! then start savin and lookinfor my parts, so i would have a whole year to save and look!, i want my car on the road this spring! my motor has 200xxx miles on it! butu are rite! i will think about what u told me!
Hey "All Motor EG" maybe I could have a 12 second hatch too, if your boy Tim from Upgrade ever sends me my motor. 9 months and counting...see my sig.
Didn't mean to hijack this thread, I'm just really pissed off right now.

well if your motors got that many miles on it, why not pickup any single cam shortblock for dirt cheap, toss it in real quick and have a reliable motor while u save
