I always liked the White on Red s2k but unfortunately for 2003 they only have white on tan s2k's, and i want to buy a new one. i recently started to like the spa yellow s2k and was looking for some feedback about thsi color, or maybe another color you guys could suggest. i've always like the PY ITR's and having a yellow s2k would be nice IMO, do you guys think yellow is too much of an attention getter or not?

I have an 01' spa yellow, I love her, I get eyes EVERYWHERE!, every stop light, every mall, if theres a person around chances are they eyed the car! infact.. if one drives by, you have to admit its HARD not to look at it.. but soon I'd like to paint it EB blue, or a dark midnight blue.. I'm still researching this though so no plans are set in stone.. as for the moment, im VERY happy with the color of my car.. if i HAD to choose another itd be black, before my 01' stook, I had a 99' Black Civic Si, she was gorgeous as well, riding on 17" axis se7ens.. at night, theres almost nothing that compares to a black car, but during the day time they are just like any other.. and they are tuff to keep clean... within 5 min of driving after a car wash and dry, your rear bumper is a mess...

black, the BEST at nite
custom (my choice EB (electron blue)), eye catching to enthusiats.. the ones that sit back and say "wow, those things didn't even come in that color, thats freakin hot!"

id say post this same question on s2ki.com... hehe, there will be a raging battle.. there are "color clans" on there that band together.. ex. "the dark side" all the black s2k owners... hehe..

Seems to be a rumor that the Spa fades quicker than any paint in honda history. Doesnt change the fact that it is a jaw dropper(w/ hardtop is extroidanary). Personally, I went with Sebring Silver because it was new to my year, and was a refreshing change from Silverstone, which they brought back this year.

 

Personally I like the white on tan but it wasn't available when I got my Spa. If you don't like people staring don't get a Spa. I don't really like being the center of so much attention but I got used to it pretty fast, the color is so amazing it's worth the gawking. An acquaintence of mine has a yellow '02 Viper GTS and when you put them next to each other the Viper seems to lose some of it's mystique, hard to explain. The Honda yellow just looks so much better, the Viper looks almost pale. Of course, take away the S2000 and the Viper looks badass again.

Although I like the white/tan I think if I were buying one today I'd still go with a Spa.

 

Although spa yellow is quite the eye catcher. Nothing beats a clean, gleeming black car at night. A pain to keep clean but when it is clean DAMN they look good.

 

I have a GP white with red interior. Its pretty nice and stands out like the Spa yellow. Well, for 03 they brought back the sebring silver (pure silver) and In my opinion thats a pretty cool silver. Black is good too, but easiler to see dirt.
