My friend is trying to get another car, it is a green 90 Civ HB SI. It comes with a LS motor. The suspension creeks and snaps alot going down the highway when we test drove it, I know he will have to replace the suspension on it. It sits like 3 to four inches of the ground. The person that had it before this owner was shooting gas as in NOS. The brake light is always on also. The cluth is kind of bad too. The engine seems to be in good condition and the body seems to be also. It has a urithane body kit already on it. The interior is missing the passenger seat. The asking price is $2,300.00. Does this sound like a good price?

u can find a better deal than that, just wait some .. check the brake fluid about the brake light

 

My friend talked to the owner and he says that he will not come down on the price I forgot to mention the previous owner had bought the car from EBay for around 4000.

 

It sounds like someone drove the sh*t out of that car. You should at least get a good mechanic to check it to make sure the motor is ok. Still, if you will have to replace the suspension, it sounds like that price is a little high.

 

It also has rear strut tower bar and a front strut tower bar does could that be what is makin the creeking sound?

 

If its just the suspension Creeking And your friend plans on replacing it and The seats 1900 seems right
but it sounds like it was ragged to hell but thats just my 2 cents

 

NOS=it was ran hard, so offer less than his asking price, plus seeing how it is older u will need to fix various little things that come from age, not to mention the clutch ect
