JDM ITR Momo wheels

Have any of you or your friends tried to restore the bright red look of the stitching by taking a perminant red marker to it?

Have you tried cleaning the stitches first? If that doesnt work, let us know what happens with the marker.

Marker will look horrible, I used acrylic paint and air brushed it. It's so red it burns my retina.
