CR-X Si moonroof
Mine does the same thing and I have a feeling it's the moonroof switch. I haven't had time to get to fixing it YET, but I will when it heats up. For now, check out:

Try that, and if that doesn't work, than get a tech to take a quick peak..

well i just bought one off of a fellow HTer, it isnt here yet but I am all prepped to pop the old one out and the new one in... You have to take the headliner out (which requires removing some pillars and stuff...) but once the liner is out it comes out pretty easily...
does it sound like the motor is still trying to close it? I know this sounds crazy, but mine wouldn't close and I tried everything I could think of, and then brought it to a body shop where they just cleaned all the moving parts up there while it was all still assembled, and it worked. Just give it a good cleaning, and that might help you a LOT.
needless to say, I was very surprised to hear that that is all it too, because it looked pretty clean.
