Crx lowering
how much could i lower my 88 crx si with it out scrapping the bodykit with 16' inch rims. what kind of springs are good? eibach, sparco, neuspeed??????? thanks reply back cuz i want my springs soon. Mike
i am prolly getting eibach, but i am getting new struts too (recomend it for you too) the eibach pro kit lowers about 1.2 or something like that... The sportline does around 2... I wouldnt go much lower than that...
Another option is the ground contrls wich are made by Eibach and are coilover so you can pick where you want it to sit... not sure how low they will got but I would guess at least 3 maybe closer to 4, but that would be risky IMO...

i didn't know sparco makes drop springs. anyways, i would go with the eibach pro-kit to be on the safe side. however, the sportline will probably give you a better stance.
Ground Control's springs are made by Eibach. H&R is Eibach's biggest competitor in Germany and they certainly make their own. Neuspeed springs used to be made by H&R until a few years ago but they are now made by yet another high quality German spring company that have no presence in the US. In Germany within a small region are a cluster of some of the world's better car spring makers, one by one they are coming to the US. You may not have heard of Vogtland yet, but they just set up US operations a year ago and you'll start hearing of them soon. That is what I have on my daily driver right now. All are good quality.
