Then found a picture of a new Civic Type R. The wheels looked appealing to me. Took off the wheels, and chopped them onto the Phoenix ITR...


Now what do you think of that... Good? Bad? Is it at all possible to do?

BTW - what's the bolt pattern of the new CTR?

I also know that this is a cosmetic topic, but the main point of it is to see if the wheels would at all fit an ITR.

 

It's nice, and not too attractice. Keeping along the lines of OEM.

Those wheels are too big and too heavy for the ITR..... There are plenty of nice looking and light rims available...

 

I'm a huge fan of take the phoenix and putting on a carbon fiber hood and spoon sw88's 16"

I think you made those wheels look a lot bigger than they really are.

 

I tried to scale it in Adobe with the rulers and grids and everything. That's what a 17" would look like, with a 40-45 series tire.

 

So, for the person who voted that it is not possible, is that right?

What is the bolt pattern on the CTR. I would presume it to be the same.

I think it looks good, just wish they were "gun metal" I love the color of the ITRs stock ones.
