They sell de-icer fluid for that at any auto store/Wal-mart.

 

Spray a little WD-40 in there (before they freeze) and you won't have that problem. Plus you'll notice the lock/unlocking is a lot smoother.

 

de-icer in the little butane looking can is cheap and as said above, available anywere.

alarm is the best way to go. I can't even remember the last time a key was even in either door on my car? Plus with the alarm you can unlock all the doors in case the one or more are frozen shut. Gotta love the winter.

 

is there a place to put the keys in the door? Alarm is the only way to go!
