Calling 2001 GS-R Owners: Front Lip = ITR?
Hey guys,
I did a 98+ conversion on my Integra using a front bumper off of a 2001 GS-R Coupe. The front bumper had a much larger lip than my stock 1995 LS bumper did. However, people had said that it was not an ITR lip and the ITR lip much "much bigger". Today I bought an ITR lip and it doesn't look much different from my current lip at all.
On the 2001 GS-R's, is the front bumper lip the same as it is on 98+ ITR's?

2001 GS-R's didn't come with a factory front bumper lip so the one you have must be an aftermarket lip if it's not the OEM ITR front lip. The 2001 Integra's will use the same style as the 98+ ITR's front lip though.

What I'm saying is that my '01 bumper looks much more stylized along the bottom than my old '95 bumper did. I'm saying that when I laid the ITR lip overtop of the '01 bumper, it just looks like it slips over it and doesn't actually change or extend the shape.

if the bumper is one piece and the ITR lip fits over it, then it's got no lip...

I believe Acura stocks two lips under different part #'s. OEM Front Lip and ITR FRont lip. TO my knowledge they are both the same. Like they said, one piece, no lip, two piece (covering the bottom of the bumper) lip. It's a suttle addition, but a neccessary oen, IMHO...

where did you guys all buy your ITR front lips? And is that a lip on the back of the car as well? sorry for my noob questions but im still new to cars sorta
