My Mugen rear STB has been sleeping under my bed for the past 2 months, but it's awake now. I finally got around to installing it a few days ago.

After the install, I took it out for a spin around the block and notice that it stiffened up the rear by quite a bit. The car just felt more rigid overall, and steering feel became somewhat more responsive. I was actually quite surpised because honestly, I wasn't expecting to be able to feel any noticable effect.

BTW, here is my old Mugen front STB. It was reluctantly sold a few weeks ago to make way for a Carbing 3pt bar. I was actually quite sad to see it go, but I needed some money to order some brake parts.

Does it clank? Looks like a solid piece.
My friend has the Tanabe Sustec one and it clanks like crazy.

 

One piece tower bars tend to not "clank" Its the 3 piece ones you want to avoid.

I'm surprised you felt the rigidness. It's not something that's usually very noticable. But good deal!

 

I like my Mugen Rear STB also. I felt the difference, it was well worth it.
