Default crunchy gear box

I just did my swap and my GSR tranny seems a little rough. It doesn't really grind, but doesn't engage smoothly. I'm using an ACT X-treme clutch and have 10-w40 Synthetic Mobil in it. Someone told me it might be the synthetic oil.
any thoughts?

1) You should never use Synthetic Oil in the Tranny. It is too slick.
2) You should never use any Motor Oil long term in the tranny.
3) You should use OEM Honda or Redline (brand) Manual Transmission Fluid only.

it has been said (so dont hold me to it) but people have said on this board that the redline speeds up wear on syncros. how it does it im not sure but i would suggest honda mtf. its made specifically for the tranny so why not use it
