want to go h23 v-tec!!!!!!!!!
i want to build h23 v-tec but i'm worried that the head won't match right and i may get some serious loss of compression does anyone know if they i can just slap that bitch on or what ...... i know i have to run an external oil line to the h22. but where do i patch the line in to ?

From what I understand, the only extra oil lines you will need are oil squirters for the pistons. The holes are already there, but need to be ran. As for the compression, yes, you will lose some; probably around 9.3:1 with the h23 pistons since the h22 cylinder head is larger. I would suggest going with H22 pistons, which would yeild you around 10.4-6:1. But, I've also read that with the H22 pistons you really don't need the oil squirters since they are forged. Feel free to correct me, Satan. I know he's dealt with this swap first hand and can provide some better insight.

payn has never done this he only likes working on b series. I know a guy around here that wanted him do do his h22 and wanted to charge him 9000 to get his h22civic in the 13's, and then said well you could do a b series.
