i have 95si del sol. its automatic

i wanna build up my engine.. for under 2k, anyone care to help me along here? this is what im figuring..
-auto to manual swap
-d block, sohc, vtec
-forged pistons and rod (any special type?)
-intake header exhaust (reccomend a size?)
-new cams
-p&p the head
-hondata or a'pexi controller (what one? any reason why, and what apexi controller if you say that)
-new clutch

so yeah, could you guys help out a newb? tia.

i have to swap the engine and tranny- reasons being that i want to do all the work outside of my car so that my car is in comission as long as possible. i need it in working order as much as possible.

i am going to be doing all the work (yes, with a lot of help from here and there)

for 2grand, you will NOT get all of these done

hondata or the new clutch will run you $200-400 each, and auto to manual conversion is really expensive, possibly $1000+

 

For all that money you could swap in a B16 or maybe a B18.

Why not just go that route?

haha. no way. im getting the engine and tranny for 350, and the parts to swap to manual are only 300.

 

cuz for 2 grand i cant get a b18, and swap to manual, and if i did it with a b16, im still only as fast as the del sol vtec.
