hi, i have an 01 Accord 4 cyl AUTOMATIC that i need to change the tranny fluid for.
how much tranny fluid do i need??, i dont have a helms manny for this car so if you can help a brother out. thanks all for any help!!!

2.1 qts i think. it should say in your owners manual

 

it reads 2.6 and then under that it reads 3.6 TOTAL. so......im guessing 2.6qts. but hwat is the total all about, is that the total in the tranny?? and you are only able to drain 2.6 qts out?? why are autos so damn complicated.

2.6 then. The automatic transmission is probably one of the most complicated inventions ever.

how exactly you change ATF?

 

drain from the drain bolt and refill from the tranny dip stick. FYI the dran bolt is a 3/8" box bolt. HTH
