fluctuating temp gauge???

fluctuating temp gauge???

The temp needle on my cluster keeps going from 1/4 from C to about halfway to H in no specific order. Anyone ever seen this? I checked my thermostat and it was ok...

did you check the thermostat by looking at it or trying a new one ?

haven't tried a new one.. but my car isn't overheating.. its just the needle keeps flucuating.. Its very odd and was wondering if anyone had seen this.
