I just bought another bike and was wondering where I can get jackets online for a decent price besides ebay. BTW im looking for a summer jacket, prefferably the joe rocket phoenix, any opinions?

if you're looking at the Phoenix, take a look at the Fieldsheer Titanium Air. It has CE approved hard armor rather than the foam stuff that the Phoenix has, and it's about $20 cheaper than the Phoenix. I have the Titanium Air jacket and pants and they're much better quality than their JR counterparts. If you want to spend more, look at the Kushitani (sp) mesh jacket. The places listed are fine... kneedraggers, parts411, and newenough... I've ordered from all 3 of these places and have gotten terrific service/turnaround time.

 

kneedraggers is great. newenough has a good rep but is too expensive for used crap imo. Same stuff goes for almost less than 2/3 on ebay. Even cheaper since its winter now, just need to know what you're buying and see some pics

 

im confused about what you said regarding newenough. the jakcet i got there was brand new and came with a 5 year warauntee, too...

 

what he means is that they sell used stuff as well, and that the prices for some of the used stuff there isn't all that great.

Fieldsheer Titanium Air, Im looking into it. I dont like wearing any gear but after i took a spill its time to gear up. The only reason I picked the JR was because I thought they were the cheapest. I was considering Spidi Net jacket but its $250. any other suggestions?
