How many Type R's in 1998...?

How many Type R's were there in 1998? I've heard 1000, I've heard 1500... anyone know for sure?

It was somewhere around 1,500-1550.

Thats the closest 98 to mine I've seen. I believe its 1250 in 98.

The highest 98 I know of is #1197

But from my list, I have counted 220 98's with 31 DECEASED.

If you believe this document, and I do, there were 1023 Rs sold in the US for the 2002 model year.

thats what i've heard as well. wow i never noticed so many 98R's that are in the 11XX batch as me
