exhaust for S2000?
Ok, did a search and got pretty much nothing. I'm looking for the best performing exhaust for the S2000. Hopefully a deep sound but the most power is most important. Please let me know your experiences. If anyone has actual dyno #s, they'd be very appreciated.
Thanks!
Thanks!
well i thought about the same thing too with my s2k, but then i realize that the s2ks rev high at normal driving. I mean when u cruze in 6th going 65-80mph you're already at like 4000+rpm. So imagine the intensity of the exhaust sound at those rpms. Even when go the legal limit of 65mph it will still be really loud. But I still I want one : ) but i havent found one that give good preformance for the noise i have to endure.
Amuse Ti.. the dual drops 8 horse.. dyno'd.. it's made of titanium, weighs 15 lbs.. low subwoofer sound at idle.. and a high F1 pitch toward redline.. its going on my car before spring.. pricetag a cool $2,300? around there.. but youll shave quite a bit of weight off.. and that gain is pretty good for a dual on a s2k.. you could go for the Amuse Ti single.. youll get better gains.. and pay less.. but I think it just looks funny..
Single exhaust happen to make more power compare to dual. Singles are usually loud cuz most of them are running N1 style muffler.
Here are the exhaust recommendation which I've friends that are running them.
Single exhaust
-Spoon N1 (econoic price and decent gains)
-Amuse R1000 70mm pipe most hp
-Buddyclub (econoic price and decent gains)
Dual
-Fujitsubo (famous JDM ehxuats fabricator)
-Mugen (+0hp but very light)
-Amuse Extra Titan (highest quality and lightest dual exhaust)

It works though, i have one and yes it adds power asper the dyno that I have done..
and it's made in the U.S.A., plus i don't have to pay those custom taxes for all that stuff from across the Pacific...
I'll save my green
