I really liked my azenis but my favorite all aroudn tire is a S-03 and they are priced pretty good in a 195/50/15 (around $70) but a 205 is about $35 more each.

I have kumho 712s their okay, kinda loud on the streets. plan to get the yokos es100 in the near future. both tires are within the same price range but the es100 are quieter since one of my friends have them on his teg and it sound ALOT quieter then the 712s I got.

I have the falken azenis on my hatch right now and they hold like a ***** on a 20 dollar bill. Les Schwab sold them to me at a very good price also.

Bridgestone Potenza S-03 or RE730. RE730 is a good balance of grip and treadlife. More suitable for daily driving than the Azenis IMO.

Toyo T1-S is another good choice. Won't last as long as RE730.

You should be able to get these tires in 195/50-15 for about $85-$100 each...

i got my 711s 205/40/17 for the hookup price-what my friend's shop gets them for from discount direct-of $60 each. theres not much too complain about. my other friend's gsr managed with them and hes the hardest driver i know.

Falken Azenis I've also run the cheaper Falken ZE502's and they are also a good everday all weather tire.

LOL!

I like my 712s. Good in the rain. Decent in the dry.

Do the Azenis have good wet traction?

The tread just seems to scream dry pavement only.

I've had both the Kumhos and the Falkens. The Falkens are a superior handling tire in the dry. The Kumhos were better in rain. As far as wear was concerned I thought they both wear about the same.

my dad had these on his 540 but he upgraded the wheels and put on kumho excta supras(b/c of the price difference) which suck a fat one in comparison. he basically lets me do obscene burnouts in that car now b/c hes trying to cook the tires so he can buy new ones.
i bought a set of so3's this summer for my civic to replace my pirrelli p7000's and they are incredible. they are expensive but imho worth every last penny.

What are some good all season tires? I would love to get some of the falkens, but here in the midwest you never know what the weather will be.

Falkens are alright. They didn't hook up that well to me. My Toyo Spectrums hooked up really nice, not even leaving marks on the ground. Kinda pricey though. I'm on Kumho now. Love them! Best tires I've had yet. I got 711's though. I think their discontinued too. My price was $76 per tire, included mount and balcance. The 712's were only $86 a piece. I chose my 711's for the tread design. They work better for me in my area cause it rains a lot.

Well Azenis aren't for "hooking up" - they are for cornering. If you're trying to drag on Azenis then you bought them for the wrong reason.

But since we're talking about dragging Azenis, if they suck so bad why is it that I've seen 2.0 60 foot times with Azenis before? That's killer for street tires designed for cornering.

If you don't have 60 foot times to compare between tires then don't say another word about "not hooking up" because there are too many variables on the street.

Man where are all the yoko owners?? I love my avs es 100's. 205\45 zr rated 16 i picked up for 76 dollars a piece. Cant beat that when you get a 280 tread wear rating, aa traction and a temp rating. Oh and they are much much better then the Kuhmo's in the rain. So the yokohama's get my vote.
