Default New suspension setup?

I sold my Tokico's and Progress springs to a friend and I'm looking for a new setup. I have a 92 VX hatch with a B18C1 swap and I want both dampening and height adjustment. I was looking at some Tein SS coilovers but passed them up. I don't need a really expensive setup because the car is my daily driver and I drag it a few times in the Spring/Summer. I want a nice firm ride, nothing too harsh.
I was thinking of getting some KYB AGX's and a set of Ground Control coilover sleeves. Does this combo work pretty well together or would I be better off with a set of full threaded coilover dampeners? I'm sick of changing the suspension around and so far I haven't found anything I like yet, but then again I haven't had a nice setup either. I checked around the net and on groupbuycenter and I could get the KYB/GC combo for about $650 shipped.

I dunno bout the KYB/GC setup, I know alot of peeps have em, but I can personally vouche for the Koni/eibach setup... There is NO dissappointment there. Gets my And depending on where you look you can get that for about the same price as the others... Either way though I dont think you can go wrong with either of the two, just dont have any experience with the KYB/GC combo... Good luck!

I considered a set of Koni Yellows with GC's which use Eibach springs, but the Koni's are about $500 for a set of 4 For the price of the Koni's and GC's I could get the Tein SS.

I'd rather have Konis and custom rated GCs than TEIN SS.

I have the koni yellows with eibach ers springs (which are the same that gc uses) I am running 450 in the front and 500 in the rear for the spring rates and I love them. It is like driving a brand new car... a brand new car that handles and rides awesome. I recomend that setup to anyone.

Yeah the more I've read about the KYB AGX the less I like. It seems that lowering more than 1.5" will void the warranty and also wear them out really quick. I guess the Koni's can take a stiffer spring rate and a lower drop also. Well I might go with a Koni Yellow/GC setup. I'm gonna do some more reseach and try to get some comparions between that setup and the Tein SS.
