Default ok. 93 CX block . 96 EX Vtec head. my CX timing belt is to big. what belt can i use.?

i put a 96 EX head (1.6L Vtec) on my cx block and had everything together and then i find out that my timing belt is way to loose. i think the head is a tad bit shorter than my stock head. so what belt will work with this combo? also is the cam gear on a non vtec head from 96 the same as the one on a vtec 96 head?

You have to use the t-belt for a 96+ EX the 92-95 D16Z6 belts might fit, but go with the D16Y8 to be safe.

ok so that timing belt will fit on my block and stuff too and be just the right size? i dont need to change no pulleys or anything.. also how in the heck do you take the main pulley off. the one that will move the pistons when the head is off.. i tried to put a wrench in my flywheel and hold it but it cracked the flywheel casing. is there any other way?
