Default take a look of this set up

d16 block bored .20 over , srp forged piston cr 10 1/2 to 1, zex cam, d16y8 head, spraying about 75, aem cold air intake, dc header, in my crx. i could drop in a b16 but money is tight, and i have heard to many stories about order those motors, and if i stick with d16 its stock lookin and i dont have to worry about mount , linkage, axles and all the little stuff.

the B16 is more expensive, but you will not have any issues with making vtec work like with the Y8 head. single cams on spray with enough compression can be pretty quick, but for my money, i went with a B16, and now am adding an ls bottom end.

ok dont get me rong mini me is a good setup but you cant bore a honda engine you have to resleve it and to me it looks like the money you have you could buy zc its about that fast and its so much easear it uses stock mounts and every thing if i were you and i wanted something cheap and quick (not fast) then i would go zc and if you ever wanted to go faster turbo but just a 75 shot and that head i/h/e i still dont think you'll break 14s unless your gutted and then youd be pushing it

with a properly built bottom end, that d motor can do wonders with Nitrous or if you go all motor. just make sure you have the proper fuel mixture with a high compression setup and if you bump up to more nitrous.
