Do EX/Si tranny's have the same gear ratio?

Default Do EX/Si tranny's have the same gear ratio?

I have a chance to buy an Ex tranny for 200 bucks. I was wondering if its the same gear ratio as an Si? Anyone?

1992-1995 Si/EX have the exact tranny.

1996-2000 EX and 1999-2000 Si are totally different. they most certainly are not interchangable because the EX is a D-Series while the Si is a B-Series.

it'd help your dx motor pick up a little faster, specially if you do a mini me....not sure about how the pricing is, sounds pretty good to me.
