Default Questions about lowering my car

I don't know much about this, so could somebody please explain? Coilovers, Springs, Shocks, Struts ...what is all that stuff? How does it all work together to get a lowered car but a smooth ride? I bought low profile tires recently and now the distance from my rims and wheel well is significant. I have the stock SI rims for a 95 lude si, so any help or suggestions on what to get would be greatly appreciated! Also, if anybody knows where to get all of the things to lower a car in one big package that would be helpful also, thanks again

First explain what " bomb diggity " means, and I will help you out.

Use the search function.
For a shock and spring combo I'd go with Koni Yellows and H&R race springs. tirerack.com has good shock prices as does groupbuycenter.com

For coilovers look at JIC or Tein.
