I think it was the other way around brinks. If i recall correctly, teh 93.5-95 year jdm model was like the usdm, but had a very bad reception and thus in order to better accomadate the japanese market, they redid the front end. Thats why they "needed a different end." I think thats rite anyway.

 

you are correct. The general public in Japan thought the 4-eye front end was "too aggressive"

I'm definetly buying a JDM ITR next! I was looking at a 1997 JDM ITR for just under $11000 (thats on the road price) but unfortunately i cant afford it at the moment!

 

hey guys, i think i can cure all of your problems... with a little help from united airlines. save up a thousand dollars, and go to japan for a week, and drool over all the jdm integras you see over there.

OR just do what i did...

started playing music when i was 8 years old, started a band 4 years ago, got really good, got signed to a record label, who released our album who had a corealeaser in japan, so they wanted us to tour over there, so they paid for us to come play over there with midtown for a week. sound good to you?! muahaha...

for the record...almost every car over there has cleared out headlights, and suttle bodykits. if you remember the acura TL (i think new body is 99 maybe? ) has this GREAT looking kit over there, all mini vans are kitted stock, and virtually everything you see if droolable. i just think the japan wouldn't buy a hideous 4 eyed integra when they know how good their shiz is. i mean think of the accord headlights (jdm of course) why would you settle for 4 eyes when honda is makin cool stuff like that?! just a thought...
