How can you tell if a harrness is automatic if your not sure what car it came out of... please help me with this question....
if it is an auto.. how to you convert it over to manual...

if it is a auto, it will have 2 extra plugs towards the front of the tranny. Right where the plug is for the backup switch. one way to tell what car it came out of is, the style of the injector plugs, if it has a VTEC soloniod, and preasure switch. If it has VTEC and a knock, than its B series. But that means that it is not an auto. IF it doesnt have a knock sensor plug but DOES have vtec, than its a auto EX most likely. To covert, you use the plugs you need, and dont use the plugs you dont need. That simple. IF its extra, either leave it or snip it. Good luck!
