You just push the ties through the holes in the inserts. I don't think they're critical, but it helps keep everything together during the install.....

EDIT - found my pics.....

These are made of urethane right? Are they going to squeek after a while?

its sts legal if you arent:

a.telling anyone
or
b. not kicking anyones *** enough to get the car looked at and protested.lol

now with all respect, abiding by the rules makes things fair and fun, but on a local regional event, i dont think anyone is really gonna care, unless you are just whoopin everyones *** and they find any little thing to protest.

yeah the car seems to shake alot at idle and at lower rpms....but I can tolerate it! I shifts very smoothly and alot quicker at high rpms...the tranny doesn't seem to move at all. NICE

and I would recommend using the ties....they wouldn't include them if you weren't suppose to use them. Once you have the mount out...insert the inserts...then put the ties through the hole and tighten it by sliding on the other square piece. Its gonna help hold the insert in there completely. Only two of mine came with the ties...the upper rear mount didn't need one....and that one was a pain in the *** to install.
